Head UCLA Football coach Jim Mora talked to the Petros and Money show and talked about satellite camps, progress in Spring Practice and why Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott should get off UCLA Athletic Director Dan Guerrero’s back.

Jim Mora is an emotional figure and UCLA Football fans know this and that is why they love him. Yesterday on the Petros and Money Show on AM570 in Los Angeles, the Bruin coach showed his emotion once again and this time it was to defend UCLA Athletic Director Dan Guererro.

This is an action packed week for the UCLA Football team as they prepare for their Spring Showcase this Saturday, which Mora talked about in regards to a change in the offense, the use of fullbacks and the progression of quarterback Josh Rosen.

Mora was then asked about satellite camps, which directly involved UCLA, and the hot topic it has become in college football the past few weeks.

That directly lead into questioning about Guerrero being in the news the last 48 hours with his controversial vote in regards to banning satellite camps. Mora had said that he disapproved of the criticism Guerrero has gotten and specifically called out Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott.

“I just feel its so unfortunate that an athletic director like Dan Guerrero that operates with so much dignitity and has so much respect around the country, was called into question, probably yesterday, by the commissioner of a conference that he has represented so well, for so long and I don’t like that.”

Yeah, that just happened. Listen to the entire interview below.
