The UCLA Women’s Basketball team are going dancing! The Bruins get the #3 seed in the Bridgeport Regional as they host the opening two rounds of the NCAA Tournament at Pauley Pavilion.

Last year the UCLA Women’s Basketball team made an unprecedented run to take the Women’s NIT Championship. This year, they have a chance to do it in the Big Dance!

That is right, the UCLA Women’s Basketball team is going dancing in the Women’s NCAA Tournament.

The Bruins get the #3 seed in the Bridgeport Regional (Connecticut) and will face #14 Hawai’i in the first round which will be held in the Bruin’s own home, Pauley Pavilion.

With UCLA hosting the first and second round of the NCAA Tournament, three games will be held in Westwood.

The Bruins and Rainbow Warriors will play in Game 1 on Saturday, March 19 at 3:30 p.m. PT while #8 South Florida and #11 Colorado State play in Game 2 at 6:00 p.m.

The first round winners will then play Monday, March 21 at a time to be announced. Tickets to all sessions are $30 (reserved) and $19 (general admission). Single game tickets are $17 (reserved), $10 (general admission) and $8 (students) and can be purchased via Ticketmaster.com.

UCLA finished the season with a 24-8, 14-4 record with a third place finish in the Pac-12 Conference. The Bruins then made it to the Pac-12 Tournament Championship Game, but unfortunately succumbed to conference champion Oregon State.

The Bruins look to shake that off and aim for the bigger prize as they return to the NCAA Tournament, hopefully with the same result as they had in the WNIT last year.
