NFL Combine: Nine Bruins Are Heading To Indianapolis
Nine former members of the UCLA Football team have been invited to participate in the NFL Combine which will take place February 23-29 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
The only thing soft about the UCLA Football program may just be the colors as Head Coach Jim Mora has developed several young men into TOUGH potential NFL players in his time in Westwood.
That is evident this year as nine Bruins have been invited to particapte in the 2016 NFL Combine later this month.
Since Mora has taken over the UCLA Football program, he has not only loaded the roster with talent every year, but developed several individuals into fantastic football players worthy of a shot in the NFL.

At the end of last season Bruin fans unfortunately saw a mass exit of players which left the UCLA roster bare in some spots. Though it is unfortunate for the Bruins, it is great for the nine individuals who clearly have the talent to jump to the NFL.
The nine former Bruins that will head to the combine are as follows: Caleb Benenoch, Jake Brendel, Kenny Clark, Thomas Duarte, Ka’Imi Fairbairn, Myles Jack, Jordan Payton, Paul Perkins and Alex Redmond.
This is the largest collection of Bruins to be invited to the NFL Combine in the Mora era. Though UCLA has a little ways to go before they are collectively elite, individually Mora is churning out superstars. You couldn’t say that about previous coaches.

With Mora consistently having UCLA in Top 20 of national recruiting class rankings, you can expect the Bruins to have several players in the NFL Combine on a yearly basis. I guess it is to be expected when you paint the walls black and change the culture of a major Division I college football program.
