Report: UCLA OC Noel Mazzone Leaving For Texas A&M
Reports have surfaced about UCLA Offensive Coordinator Noel Mazzone becoming OC at Texas A&M.
Speculation about Noel Mazzone heading to Texas A&M to be their new offensive coordinator have all been confirmed as multiple reports have the UCLA Football OC heading to College Station.
Football Scoop had originally broke the news stating flat out, “FootballScoop has learned that UCLA offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone will be the new offensive coordinator at A&M.” No more, no less.
ESPN followed that up claiming that they had a source that was giving the same information about Mazzone.

Texas A&M had looked to Mazzone after they released former OC Jake Spivital after three years with the Aggies. It seems in some ways, the feelings Texas A&M fans had about Spivital were similar to those of Bruin fans and Mazzone.
Despite finding success in his first three years with UCLA Football, the offense seemed to take a step back in 2015. Though Mazzone was able to highlight the skills of players like QB Josh Rosen and RB Paul Perkins, late in the season his offense seemed to stall.
With Mazzone departing, that now leaves Head Coach Jim Mora with the task of hiring a new OC. It was just last year that the Bruins had to hire a new defensive coordinator as Jeff Ulbrich departed for a position as linebackers coach with the Atlanta Falcons. As his replacement, Mora hired longtime Penn State defensive coordinator, Tom Bradley.
