2016 UCLA Football recruiting target Mique Juarez narrowed his selection down to the Bruins and the Ole Miss Rebels at the Army All-American Bowl.

The UCLA Football fan base got some good news as 6’2″, 226 lbs., 5-star outside linebacker Mique Juarez narrowed his decision down to UCLA and Ole Miss today at the Army All-American Bowl.

According to Scout.com, Juarez, who is from North High School in Torrance, CA, is the No. 1 rated OLB in the nation. His style of play has gotten Juarez comparisons to former UCLA football player Myles Jack as he plays a similar game.

Though Juarez is more raw than Jack, he is still a very athletic player that is quick, has good lateral movement, great vision and is excellent in one-on-one coverage.

By far, Juarez is UCLA’s No. 1 target for the 2016 recruiting class.

Juarez was originally committed to USC in January of 2015, but was considered more of a silent verbal. After all the commotion that went on with USC this past football season, which included the saga with Steve Sarkisian‘s termination, Juarez had de-committed from the Trojans in August.

The UCLA Football program had still been in communication with Juarez during his commitment and was considered a favorite for Juarez after moving on from USC.

It is just under a month until National Signing Day and a lot can happen between now and then, but as Go Joe Bruin recruiting specialist Michael Hanna has written, there is a good chance Juarez becomes a Bruin, which would thrill his parents among many others.
