No. 21 UCLA Women’s Basketball Vs the USC Trojans
The UCLA Women’s Basketball team begins Pac-12 play tonight against crosstown rival, the USC Trojans who are 12-0 up to this point in the season. Though the Trojans are undefeated, they have not yet played a ranked team. That changes tonight at Pauley Pavilion.
The Bruins are 8-3, yet they are ranked 21st in the country. That is because the Bruins have done the opposite of USC and actually scheduled games against top teir opponents. All three of the Bruin’s loses were to ranked teams, and in two of those games, the Bruins could have easily won.
Just over a week ago, the UCLA Women’s Basketball team took the No.21 California Golden Bears to double overtime, in a nail-biter. The Bruins eventually lost 108-104, but not without a landing several punches first. (Quick note, that game against Cal did not count as a Pac-12 game, but as a non-conference game).
