The UCLA Bruins move up four spots to #19 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings.

The UCLA Bruins (7-2, 4-2) have moved up to the #19 spot in the second edition of the 2015 College Football Playoff rankings. After coming in at #23 in the initial rankings last week, the Bruins moved up four spots (just as they did in the Amway Coaches and AP Top 25 Polls) after a 41-0 thrashing of the Oregon State Beavers.

The Bruins made a lot of improvements this last weekend, albeit against the worst team in the Pac-12, and are now shifting their focus on their final three games against Washington State, Utah and USC which are guaranteed to be a challenge.

If UCLA has a good showing in these last three games (especially with 3 victories), that will propel them up the College Football Rankings… but we are a long way from that. Right now the Bruins need to defeat the surprising WSU Cougars and their Air Raid offense.

As for the rest of the Pac-12, Utah crept into the #10 spot while Stanford moved up to the #7, giving the Pac-12 the best chance of getting a team into the 4-team playoff.

Currently, the Top 4 teams are as follows: #1 Clemson, #2 Alabama, #3 Ohio State and #4 Notre Dame. The last 2 out are: #5 Iowa and #6 Baylor.
