If a 56-35 loss to Stanford was not bad enough for UCLA Football, it gets even worse as five Bruins sustained injuries in that game.
This season, which seemed so promising before the year, has been severally strained by a rash of injuries which has already taken out four players for the year.
OL Eddie Vanderdoes, DB Fabian Moreau, LB Myles Jack and WR/DB Mossi Johnson all sustained season-ending injuries prior to the Stanford game.
Unfortunately, a fifth Bruin is gone for the season as WR Tyler Scott tore his ACL in the game Thursday night. That was only one of five total injuries that occurred against the Cardinal.
As of now, there is no word on any of the other four injuries to OL Alex Redmond, OL Conor McDermott, LB Deon Hollins and RB Nate Starks. As Bruin Report Online stated, these injuries are being checked out and the coaching staff should know the severity, if any, of all these injuries by their next game against Cal on Thursday.
UCLA was able to get a par of Bruins back at Stanford as LB Jayon Brown and DB Marcus Rios returned after missing the Arizona State game two weeks ago.
Unfortunately, only two players returning is not enough as the Bruins depth, which was intact in early September, is being rapidly drained.
