In Episode 76 of the What’s Bruin Show, we talk about UCLA Football’s bad weak, preview UCLA vs Stanford and head into some Pac-12 talk which is highlighted by USC putting Steve Sarkisian on a leave of absence, which we now know resulted in his termination.

In this latest episode, hosts Bill Shirley, Jake Merrifield and I start the week off a little earlier than expected as we get ready for The Game That Will Be… UCLA vs Stanford this Thursday night.

We start off the show by trying to get rid of the bad juju from the past week. Myles Jack leaves. Walk-on punter Adam Searl got arrested. Mossi Johnson becomes the fourth Bruin out for the season. UCLA Basketball coach Duane Broussard is accused of demanding grade changes for his players.

The week was just a mess and we try to help you through it, especially as we breakdown one of the scariest games on the schedule for the UCLA Football team. Playing at Stanford on a Thursday night. How pleasantly awkward.

Helping us analyze Stanford is Hank Waddles, Editor of GoMightyCard.com, a site about everything Stanford Football. We have a good long conversation and ask him about this year’s Cardinal team and how they stack up against the Bruins.

We then get a bit serious as we enter Pac-12 talk as we try to get a sense of what is happening to Steve Sarkisian after his leave of absence. Although it came out today that Sarkisian has since been fired as the head coach of USC Football.

What a show, huh?
