The #9 UCLA Football team absolutely demolished the #16 Arizona Wildcats in a 56-30 beating.
So I am not trying to gloat here, but UCLA Football absolutely smashed the Arizona Wildcats in this conference opening desert meeting. UCLA Football beat them, they broke them, the humiliated them, they exposed them.
After a brutal first half where the Bruins picked apart the Wildcats on offense, defense and special teams, UCLA lead 42-14, in their biggest half of the year.

It was more of the same in the second half as UCLA owned the Wildcats.
Arizona had started strong with a score on their first drive of the second half which made it 42-20, though Arizona stayed at 20 after the PAT missed. It was that kind of night for the Wildcats.
Arizona had scored a total of 17 points in the second half while the Bruins improved upon their 42 point halftime performance with two more scores as Josh Rosen scored on a keeper and Soso Jamabo got his first collegiate touchdown late in the game.
Jared Baker had the final score in a gimme for Arizona to make the game respectable.
The final was a Bruin bloodletting of Arizona, 56-30.
The Bruins head home next week as the take on Arizona State who is currently getting brutalized by USC..
