In a new segment, we at What’s Bruin Show have decided to bring you game recaps each week. That begins today as we review the season opener for UCLA Football as they welcomed the Virginia Cavaliers to the Rose Bowl. Many things happened in the Bruin’s 34-16 victory which we obviously could not wait until next week to talk about.

How about that Josh Rosen kid? A freshman with a 351 passing yard and 3 touchdown performance? That was pretty amazing.

And the defense played really well… on offense. We once again saw Myles Jack carry the ball and it only took him two attempts to get his first touchdown of the year.

Then there is 6’3″, 310 lbs. defensive tackle Kenny Clark getting his first career receiving touchdown.

As for the actual defense, behind new Defensive Coordinator Tom Bradley, the Bruins put the clamp down as they disallowed only one touchdown in the game and held the Wahoos to 98 total rushing yards.
