The UCLA Football team has named their leaders for the 2015 season as six captains were named.
The UCLA Football team have their six captains for the 2015 season: Cameron Judge, Jake Brendel, Paul Perkins, Fabian Moreau, Kenneth Clark and Taylor Legace.
On offense we have redshirt senior center Jake Brendel, who has started in every single game during his four year career at UCLA. He has been an anchor on the offensive line for years and has grown into a mentor role for the entire o-line group. Can’t find a more deserving player on the team when it comes to selecting a captain.

Brendel will be blocking for the PAC-12’s leading rusher and fellow captain, Paul Perkins. The soft-spoken running back will more than likely carry an even bigger weight on his shoulders than he did last year, on top of that he’ll have an extra bit of leadership to deal with as he is the second offensive player to be elected as a captain.

Moving on to defense, we have two major contributors who have also been selected in Kenny Clark and Fabian Moreau. Clark started in all 13 games last season and mans the middle of a very impressive defensive line.
While Moreau started every game the past two seasons and heads into this year pegged at the starting corner position, he’ll look to improve on last season and finish off his career at UCLA with a bang.
Rounding out the fifth and sixth captain spots are special teamers Taylor Lagace and Cameron Judge. Both have been solid contributors on a special teams squad that has been very impressive the past few years.
The team couldn’t have selected a better group of guys to represent the team and the school. We can’t wait to see them in action on Saturday against Virginia!
