UCLA Football Ranked 15th In Phil Steele’s Preseason Poll
College football analyst Phil Steele has UCLA football ranked 15th in his 2015 preseason poll. Steele, who publishes one of the most successful college football magazines in the country, is counting down his Top 40 teams. (To find out #1-14, you will either have to follow his site or buy his preview which comes out Wednesday, July 1, which I recommend you do.)

The Bruins who are coming off back-to-back 10-win seasons are showing no signs of slowing down in head coach Jim Mora‘s fourth season. Despite losing 3-year starter Brett Hundley, UCLA Football looks to pick up where they left off as they return 18 staters from last season, including the offensive line which Steele has calcated has the most combined starts in the nation.
As for the how Steele views UCLA football, he claims, “Despite losing their quarterback, this is Mora’s best team yet.”
Now that is saying something, but not outlandish as UCLA returns the Pac-12 leading rusher Paul Perkins and iron man Myles Jack for their junior seasons. Despite not yet having a starting QB, UCLA football should once again be in the hunt for the Pac-12 title and possibly a College Football Playoff spot.
As for the last five teams ranked, Steele has: #20 Mississippi, #19 Penn State, #18 Oklahoma, #17 Clemson and #16 Virginia Tech.
