If you think Paul Perkins leaving early is going to hurt, just imagine what it will be like if Myles Jack leaves. IT WILL BE CHAOS I TELL YOU! Well, not really. The good thing is that head coach Jim Mora and company have done a solid job recruiting linebackers, which is another story, but there is only one Myles Jack and you cannot replace him.
In his freshman year, Jack was both the Pac-12 Freshman Offensive AND Defensive Player of the Year. Last season he added zone coverage and playing the nickel position into his repertoire which has really expanded is arsenal of defensive weapons.
He is also an iron man as he has played running back as a short-yardage rusher in addition to his natural linebacker duties, but that is not all. This past Spring Practice, he even took a few reps with kick returns. Imagine that, Jack a triple-threat!
But that is Jack, a natural athlete, which is why it is not hard to fathom his early exit from UCLA. Though that is yet to be seen, it definitely is a scary thing to think about.
