Just as the title says, the UCLA football quarterback competition just got tougher for the coaches. Contrary to what I wrote yesterday, practice did not solely feature just two QBs (and then would have featured two other on Monday). Today we got to see all four quarterbacks that are in the running for the starting job perform with both the first and second team offense.
Jerry Neuheisel, Mike Fafaul, Asiantii Woulard and Josh Rosen all had at least two drives leading the offense throughout the day. All four also ran the skeleton drills which gave us a look at how each performed with out pressure.
Everyone of them had some not-so-great plays, but those were over shadowed by the plays they did really well on. (Note: if you think the Bruins will pass less with a new QB, I believe this practice showed that whoever gets the #1 spot, will in fact be throwing the ball a lot.)
So let us check out how each QB did today…
