UCLA Football Makes A Few Changes At Spring Practice, Jim Mora Addresses The Media
After the initial Spring Practice, UCLA head coach Jim Mora had addressed the media. He gave both personnel updates as well as his opinion one some of the players during practice. Mora started off with a big compliment to his team as he stated, ” it felt like they picked up right where they left off in San Antonio [on January 2]”, but also talked about what parts of the team need work on.

–Devin Lucien is confirmed to have left the UCLA football program.
-JC tansfer OL Zach Bateman will need some time to get up to speed.

–Jerry Neuheisel is not the #1 QB, but “has the edge” according to Mora.

Position changes
–Colby Cyburt to moves to tight end.
–Dwight Williams moves from linebacker to safety.
–Myles Jack will be at inside linebacker at the “Jack position”.

Injury report
–Steven Manfro is participating in Spring Practice after missing most of last season with an ACL tear.
–Randall Goforth is back, but wearing a red jersey to limit contact.
–Simon Goines was working with the offensive line.
–Austin Roberts, Denzel Fisher and Cameron Griffin returned from injury and are looking good.
–Kenny Orjioke and Eli Ankou are still out and working with trainer Sal Alosi.
