After breaking UCLA’s all time passing touchdown record, all-time total offense record and beating USC three straight times, it is likely that Brett Hundley has played his last game against the Trojans. Today on The Jim Rome Show the redshirt junior was asked by the host what the chances are that this past weekend’s game again USC would be his last. The Trojan killer answered by saying:
"I got my degree. I have done everything I wanted to do here. I have left something that is really, truly great and it felt good and that is probably my last one against SC. -Brett Hundley"

Though this may be a shock to Bruin fans, it is not unexpected. Last season Hundley was weighing his options to stay after his redshirt sophomore season and made the choice to return to much fanfare. This season he has propelled himself into the upper echelon of great UCLA quarterbacks and going undefeated against Trojans is the cherry on top.
Still, the season is not over as the Bruins are yet to play Stanford in their last regular season game. If they win, they book a trip to the Pac-12 Championship Game against Oregon. After that, the Bruins should get a bid to play in a respectable bowl, hopefully on New Year’s Day.
So with this most likely being Hundley’s last season , we here at Go Joe Bruin say, “THANK YOU, BRETT!”
Go Bruins!
