Finally, #18 UCLA (8-2, 5-2) puts together a complete game to beat the Washington Huskies (6-4, 2-4) in Seattle. It is the sixth win on the road for UCLA who goes undefeated away from the Rose Bowl for the year. It is also another important win that keeps the Bruins alive for the Pac-12 South Division.

Betsided
The Bruins had attacked early as they went up 14-0 half way through the first quarter. The Bruin’s offense had finally clicked as they put together several good drives that Washington could not figure out early on. Brett Hundley was on fire in the first as he scored on a 4-yard run which was followed up by a 57-yard touchdown pass to Kenny Walker.
The Huskies scored a field goal late in the first followed by a Cyler Miles run that had challenged the Bruins early in the second quarter and brought the game within reach as UCLA was only up 14-10. Unfortunately for Washington, UCLA has the next three scores that pushed the Bruins lead to 31-10. One of those scores was a massive Myles Jack run that went 28-yards for the TD. In that run, Jack managed to throw down a UW defender that showed both his strength and speed.
Can we just marvel at Myles Jack's TD run again? Here's a look at his stiff-arm and spin move: http://t.co/76Iq0E5khm (GIF) #UCLAvsUW

After the half, Washington had several good drives that tested the Bruin’s lead, but equally, UCLA was not done putting the hurt on the Huskies. Washington had hurt the Bruins with their run game as they collectively put up 211 yards on UCLA. Washington had found a formula to march downfield, but UCLA ultimately stopped them on several drives.
In the second half, Washington only had one offensive touchdown. The other scores were on two field goals and a fantastic kick return by John Ross who took it 100 yards for the score. Other than that, it was all Bruins.

UCLA had three scores in the second half on two Ka’imi Fairbairn field goals and a 15-yard strike from Hundley to Mossi Johnson. With the big first half lead, it was enough to stay ahead of the Huskies and get the win.
As for Hundley, the Bruin QB has now immortalized himself in Bruin history as he became the all-time leader in touchdown passes. With two in this game, Hundley broke the tie with Cade McNown to total 70 career TD passes at UCLA. Congratulations Brett! He finished with 302 passing yards which added to the Bruin’s 476 total offensive yards.
The Bruins have a bye week before they meet crosstown rival USC in two weeks. A perfect time for a rest before a game that will be big in determining the South Division winner.
Go Bruins!
