Bruins Ranked #7 in the USA Today Preseason Poll
By Vince Senick
The UCLA Bruins find themselves ranked #7 in the preseason USA Today Preseason Poll, released yesterday. They are one of six Pac-12 teams to crack the top 25 and are considered the second best team in the conference, based on the rankings. Oregon (#4), Stanford (#11), USC (#15), Arizona St. (#18), and Washington (#25) were the other five Pac-12 teams to crack the top 25.
Based on these preseason rankings UCLA will play six games against ranked teams, two on the road, one at a, not so neutral, neutral site and three at The Rose Bowl. It will not be an easy road to the playoffs, but the Bruins have all of the talent to get through this schedule and advance.
With Pac-12 media days over and the release of the first poll, now it is time to focus on some football and the unofficial start to the season on Monday when training camp opens up. Get ready Bruin fans.
