UCLA football players Brett Hundley and Myles Jack have been named to the Walter Camp Award watch list. Both Bruins have already shown up on several award watch lists and are now in contention for an honor that would recognize them as Player of the Year in college football. For the Bruins, that gives them the potentially best player in the nation on both sides of the ball… and two on the same side in short yardage situations.

Things could not be better set up for Hundley going into the 2014-15 season. Not only is he just a fantastic specimen to witness on the field, but this year, he will have a healthy and solid running back group, a young and talented receiving corps and, for once, an experienced offensive line. Not only will he make them better, but they will also make Hundley better. And with that, they have the potential to take over the Pac-12 and get a berth in the first College Football Playoffs.

More from UCLA Bruins Football

If you followed college football, even a little bit last year, you heard about Jack. The freshman phenomenon that plays both sides of the football and just happens to be a really good all-around player. The Pac-12 Offensive and Defensive Freshman Player of the Year is back for a second go at things and is not looking to have a lull in production. In fact, he might have gotten even better. Now that he knows UCLA’s schemes and has had the summer to understand new defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich‘s game plan, he will be an absolute beast this fall. It is no wonder why he is up for an award for the Player of the Year.

Go Bruins!
