Outspoken UCLA Basketball dad LaVar Ball once again made a name for himself, his kids and his Big Baller Brand as he went on WWE’s RAW.
It is not UCLA Basketball news, but it sure was funny. LaVar Ball, the outlandish Bruin dad, went on RAW on Monday night (and no one knows why) and did something only he would dream of doing.
He grew his brand.
Ball has been a “mouth”, as one WWE wrestler called him, which is quite possibly the best description of the assault chopper parent over the last year.

LaVar made a name for himself when his son Lonzo Ball first started at UCLA (weird right? You would think it would be all about Lonzo).

In the year that followed, LaVar has been boasting about his Big Baller Brand, how great Lonzo is, how great LaVar is, as well as made some controversial comments along the way, which he should still be accountable for (like that UCLA did not win a championship because of the “white guys” comment).
And has he apologized? Not once. And why should he? He is LaVar Ball, the best basketball player in the world that scored 2.2 points per game at Washington State (don’t ask).
But now that his dream has come to fruition, LaVar is nothing but a character of himself and he solidified that with his appearance on RAW.
One thing is for certain, though he will not back down, it is working for him because he not only got to boast about his Big Baller Brand in front of a nationally televised audience, he crossed BBB over into another market that might otherwise have not heard about him or his brand.
And though he ruffles some feathers and should change his image in some people’s eyes, he did a excellent job prancing his character in front of the WWE audience.

Well played LaVar. Well played.
Oh yeah, UCLA also got a mention, on RAW. That is quite possibly the first time that has ever happened. Go Bruins!
