Though undrafted, former UCLA Basketball graduated players Bryce Alford and Isaac Hamilton will play in the NBA Summer League.

Though the NBA Draft is over, the wake of its actions are still being felt, especially with the UCLA Basketball team.

The Bruins had four former players taken in the 2017 NBA Draft, but they also have two other players that have attached themselves to a few pro teams.

Graduated seniors Bryce Alford and Isaac Hamilton may not have heard their name called at the draft, but that does not mean their dreams of playing in the NBA are over.

More from Bruins in the NBA

It was announced that both Bruins will be playing in the NBA Summer League as Alford will suit up with the Golden State Warriors and Hamilton with the Indiana Pacers.

If Alford impresses the Warriors’ execs and lands a spot with Golden State, he will do it with his outside game. Last season, Alford became UCLA’s all-time leader in 3-points made and was one the Bruins’ deadlier shooters.

A year after running the point for the Bruins, Alford moved over to the shooting guard spot to make room for Lonzo Ball and thrived as a oustide shooting threat.

If Hamilton can impress this summer, he will make the squad with two other Bruins as TJ Leaf and Ike Anigbogu were selected by the Pacers last night in the draft.

Hamilton also has a deadly outside shot, but is also a bit of a slasher. Hamilton can create his own shot and has good vision, which could be something Indiana can utilize.

Hopefully Alford and Hamilton can make something out of their summer performances. We here at Go Joe Bruin wish them luck and will be following their progress all summer long. Go Bruins!
