What’s Bruin Show – Episode 114 – UCLA Football Is Over, UCLA Basketball Just Beginning
In episode 114 of the ‘What’s Bruin Show’, we talk about the merciless end to this season of UCLA Football and the rise of UCLA Basketball. You are going to want to strap in for this one.
In this episode, hosts Bill Shirley, Jake Merrifield and I welcome LA Sports Hub writer Jamaal Artis back to the show to discuss Cal’s beat down of UCLA Football and the contrasting rising phoenix that is UCLA Basketball.
It was painful to go through, but we break down the broke down Bruins after their 36-10 loss to Big Brother up in Berkeley. That game capped the worst season in the Jim Mora era as UCLA finishes the season 4-8.
We already know that Kennedy Polamalu was the sacrificial lamb to this season as he was fired the morning after Cal. That sets up a domino effect going into next season as we examine UCLA Football going forward.
We then talk about something cheery as UCLA Basketball is on fire right now and we preview the team going into their games against UC Riverside and — the one all eyes will be on — Kentucky.
