Report: UCLA Football Quarterback Josh Rosen Possibly Out For Season
Bruin Report Online has reported that UCLA Football could be without their starting quarterback Josh Rosen for the rest of the season due to his shoulder injury.
It is not a good news day for the UCLA Football team. It has been reported that the Bruins might be with sophomore QB Josh Rosen for the remainder of the 2016 season.
Rosen was injured three weeks ago against Arizona State when he was sacked and landed on his shoulder late in the game. It was said that he suffered nerve damage in his shoulder. Rosen has not played since.
Backup QB Mike Fafaul has been his replacement.

Though the Bruins have prepared for this outcome, it does not make the news any easier. UCLA is currently 3-5 and in 5th place in the Pac-12 South Division. The Bruins have four games remaining, starting this Thursday against Colorado. Whether Rosen could have helped the Bruins win or not is unknown, but his talents will be missed.
Before his injury, Rosen was on of the top three QBs in the Pac-12 Conference. He averaged 319.2 passing yards per game, had 10 touchdowns, 5 interceptions and a total of 1,915 yards.

It is unfortunate that the Bruins will be without his passing skills as they appear to be abandoning the power schemes for the spread offense. In UCLA’s last game, the Bruins passed the ball 70 times and only ran the ball 10.
