Kickoff between the Oregon State and UCLA Football teams on Saturday, November 12 has been set for 6 p.m. PT at the Rose Bowl.

The second to last UCLA Football game at the Rose Bowl this season will be an evening affair as it was announced today that the Bruins’ game against Oregon State will kick off at 6 p.m. PT.

Before the season started, many Bruin fans counted this game as an automatic “W”. In the last few seasons, the Beavers have been abysmal and essentially the doormat of the North Division.

Despite a 2-6, 1-4 record, Oregon State has made a lot of progress this year. This past Saturday, the Beavers gave Washington State all they could handle in a 35-31 loss. Oregon State had surprised Wazzu early as they put up 232 total yards in the 1st quarter!

If OSU gave WSU trouble a few weeks after WSU gave UCLA trouble, then the Bruins should not take them lightly. After this season, I doubt UCLA will take anyone on the remainder of their schedule lightly.

Last season, UCLA shut out Oregon State up in Corvallis by a score of 41-0. It was their first shut out since 2007 against the Oregon Ducks.

The situation will be a little bit different this year as the Bruins try to right their ship despite a late-season attempt. Either way, the Bruins cannot overlook this nothing-to-lose Beavers team. But first, UCLA needs to beat Colorado this Thursday. Go Bruins!
