UCLA Football: RT Kolton Miller Seen In A Cast
The UCLA Football team cannot afford a long-term injury on the offensive line, which is why it is concerning that right tackle Kolton Miller was seen in a cast on Tuesday.
The UCLA Football team is not very deep on the offensive line. They have two good tackles, but only a few guys that could step in if anything was to happen to them.
That might be the case this weekend.
Last Saturday against Arizona, starting right tackle Kolton Miller went down after running back Soso Jamabo ran into the back of his leg. Miller was able to walk off the field, but did not play in the second half.
Redshirt freshman Andre James replaced Miller and did an admirable job, especially as the Bruins scored 31 points after the half. James may be called upon again if Miller is not ready to go, which could be the case.
If James is called in to start, he will have to go up against a blitz-happy Arizona State defense. The Sun Devils may be a step down from where they have been in the last few years, but with a new guy stating on the edge, you can expect ASU to go after James.
