So here are two episodes of our side show, WB2 in which we review the UNLV game and do a preview via interview with BYU beat writer, Jared Lloyd of the Daily Herald.
In the first episode, hosts Jake Merrifield and Bill Shirley recap the UCLA Football team’s adventures against the UNLV Rebels. The Bruins were able to get the 42-21 win, but at a cost.
The offense did very well behind QB Josh Rosen, but things were different on the other side of the ball. The UCLA defense once again struggled, especially against the run. The Bruins gave up 5.0 yards per carry, which is bad, but managed to shut down the Rebels in the 4th quarter, which is good.
In this second episode, Merrifield brings you a brilliant interview with BYU beat writer, Jared Lloyd. The Daily Herald writer is able to give us an in-depth look at the Cougars before the Bruins head to Provo for Saturday’s match up.
Lloyd tells us about the transition from
Bronco Mendenhall
to
Kalani Sitake
, how new Offensive Coordinator
Ty Detmer
is bringing a more pro-style offense to the team and even gets into the ejections of two Cougar safeties in their last game.
