After a phenomenal true freshman season in which he threw for 3,669 yards and 23 touchdowns, Rosen seems to have the starting spot on this year’s UCLA offense.
But what is the situation behind Rosen? With potentially four back-up quarterbacks, the Bruins look to be a better position in the passing game than they were a year ago.

That was one of many topics that your’s truly discussed with college football analyst Mark Rogers of MarkRogersTV. With Rosen in full control of the offense, and having some depth behind him, things will be different for the Bruins this coming fall, especially when taking into consideration the new offense the Bruins will be displaying.
Head Coach Jim Mora and new Offensive Coordinator Kennedy Polamalu have implemented a few tweaks to the offense which will bring in a few power formations, though staying true to the 3-4 wide receiver sets.
Either way, it will be interesting to see what the Bruins can do with Rosen now that he will have more than one back-up.
This past spring, we saw early enrollee
Matt Lynch
share second team duties with walk-on
Mike Fafaul, as both had something to add to the offense. This fall, the Bruins add another top recruit as dual-threat QB
Devon Modster
joins the roster. Though he was recruited as a receiver, the Bruins could also have
Dymond Lee
battle for the #2 QB spot.
