In this very special episode, hosts Bill Shirley, Jacob Merrifield and I welcome former Bruins Aaron Hester and Dietrich Riley to the show to talk about a great organization that is bring fans, alumni and former athletes together, the Bruin Fan Alliance.
We also throw in some UCLA Football talk, so its pretty much the perfect podcast.

If you have not heard, the Bruin Fan Alliance is a charitable organization working alongside, though not affiliated with, the UCLA Athletic Department to enhance the fan experience.
Per their website, “The Bruin Fan Alliance is determined to create a lasting connection between faculty, students, alumni, administration, and staff founded on unity and support.”
Their mission is based on three pillars: Boosterism, Philanthropy and Mentorship. All of this is discussed at length by Bruin Fan Alliance Ambasadors, Hester and Riley.
We also talk to these former defensive backs about what it was it like to be a student-athlete, their memories about current Head Coach Jim Mora and how all that has helped them as part of the Bruin Fan Alliance.
