Canada was part of dynamic back court with senior Nirra Fields that led the Bruins to a 26-9 record, a third place Pac-12 regular season finish, runners up in the Pac-12 Tournament and a Sweet 16 appearance.
All of this after a down season the previous year when the Bruins missed the NCAA tournament completely.

The upside to the 2014-15 season was that UCLA was invited to the Women’s National Invitational Tournament and pulled off six straight victories to capture the NIT Championship.
In that game, we caught a glimpse of what Canada was capable of as she put the Bruins on her back and scored 31 points… as a freshman.
This past season as a sophomore, Canada led all Bruins with 16.1 points per game (7th in the Pac-12) and 5.7 assists per game (2nd in the Pac-12).
Because of her performance this season, Canada has earned a list of accolades to go with being named as an AP All-American. Canada was named to the All-Pac-12 Tournament team, to the Wade Trophy Watch List (given to the top female basketball player in the nation) and made the All-Pac-12 Team.
