The inevitable of UCLA missing the NCAA Tournament is being delayed as the Bruins have three games left in the regular season which starts today with Stanford.
Put a fork in them? Not quite Bruin fans. Despite the lackluster and disconcerting finish to the season, UCLA has three more games and the Pac-12 Tournament left in the season.

At the least, UCLA has four games remaining. At most, they have eight plus (regular season, Pac-12 and NCAA Tournaments). But let us be real, the only way they go dancing is if a few things occur:
1. UCLA is so impressive in their last three regular season games, the NCAA Committee invites them to the tournament based on merit (don’t laugh). 2. The Bruins win the Pac-12 Tournament. 3. A miracle shines down upon them (okay, you can laugh).

Bruin fans, you should watch this game? Why? Because it will give you a glimpse into the future of UCLA basketball.
Or I can just tell you that the future is the same as the past with Steve Alford running the show. No defense, bad roster management and the inability to come into games prepared. Needless to say, it is not good.
That is evident by the growing sentiment that Alford should no longer be the coach of the most decorated college basketball program in history.
Just ask any Bruin fan. The majority of them will tell you it is time to #FireAlford.
This is the coach’s third year at UCLA and instead of bring the Bruins back to national prominence, he is making them more and more irrelevant with every game that passes.
Next: The UCLA Basketball All-Time Team
And it does not get any easier. Today, the Bruins play an underachieving Stanford team that overachieved two nights ago when they mutilated an up-and-coming USC team that mutilated UCLA (twice). So what should we expect from this? More of the same.
Prediction: UCLA 62 – Stanford 76
