UCLA Football: Myles Jack Named To The Sporting News Pre-Season All-America Team
Myles Jack is going to be a junior this fall. It will be his third year as a part of the UCLA Football team. It will be the third year that he will make a statement for the Bruins and everyone knows this, especially the Sporting News who have named Jack to their pre-season All-America 2nd Team Defense.

Jack had made an impression on the college football world during his true freshman season two years ago. Not only did he prove to be a solid linebacker early in the year, but during the Bruin’s 9th game at Arizona, he also proved to be a force on offense. UCLA was down to only a few running backs at that point in the season and brought in Jack to assist with short-yardage plays.
Well Jack did not get the message that he was only suppose to go a few yards up field as he blasted past the Wildcats defense for 120 yards, part of which was an amazing 66-yard touchdown run.

It was the first of many amazing games he would put on for UCLA Football.
Last year, Jack had developed his defensive game that included improved coverages and did very well playing as a hybrid linebacker/defensive back as well as continuing to be a solid defender. Oh yeah, he was also fifth on the team with 113 yards topped off with 3 touchdowns.
So you see, Jack making a Sporting News All-American team is no surprise, it’s expected. Myles Jack is a physical specimen that must be paid attention to. He can smash through his opponents like a bowling ball and yet has the grace of a gazelle weaving through defenses as a running back. If you have not heard about Myles Jack by now… you will. You will.
