  • #6 Oregon Ducks (6-1, 3-1) Vs California Golden Bears (4-3, 2-3) at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, 7 p.m. PT

The Oregon Ducks are in complete control of their destiny, though they run into an old foe that has always given them trouble. The Golden Bears are coming off two losses and are going to try to do everything to prevent a third, but they’re going to have to pull out all the stops to defeat a Ducks team that has got their mojo back. Throw in a marquee matchup at the new Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California and the stage is set for more parity in the Pac-12. It will be easy to pick Oregon in this game, but the last couple years Cal has really taken it to the Ducks. Oregon will win this game, but not by much… Well not too much.

    Line: Oregon -17.0

    Prediction: Oregon 48 – Cal 38

    SATURDAY

    #25 UCLA Bruins (5-2, 2-2) at Colorado Buffaloes (2-5, 0-4), 11 a.m.

The Bruins are looking to get their 8th straight road win as they head to Boulder to face the Colorado Buffaloes. Colorado is not doing well this year but they are not to be looked over. Though the Buffaloes have a top-tier wide receiver in Nelson Spruce, there is not a lot else they do have. Look for the Bruins to have an improved defensive outing as well as being the offensive threat we all know they are.

    Line: UCLA -14.0

    Prediction: UCLA 35 – Colorado 21

    Oregon State Beavers (4-2, 1-2) at Stanford Cardinal (4-3, 2-2), 12:30 p.m.

Stanford has some excellent defense but their offense is not doing a heck of a lot to help their cause at trying to win a third straight Pac-12 Championship. With already two losses, Stanford has their backs against the wall as they now have to play catch up to the Oregon Ducks. They get that chance this weekend as they take on Oregon State who is been doing well below expectations and looks to be in a spot of trouble. Yet if the Beavers can somehow defeat the Cardinal, thestandings in the north will be a lot crazier after the weekend.

    Line: Stanford -13.0

    Prediction: Stanford 24 – Oregon State 6

    #15 Arizona Wildcats (5-1, 2-1) at Washington State Cougars (2-5, 1-3), 3 p.m.

    More from UCLA Bruins Football

Arizona has impressed this season but they are still a few tools short of being in an elite Pac-12 team. It’s no secret that they have an offense that can score but their defense is going to have to be tops this weekend as they face a very potent Washington State Cougars air-raid offense. The Cougars have shown that they have some bite, but they are not very good at stopping others from biting them. The defense has been the weak point of the Cougars squad and needs to somehow limit the Wildcat’s opportunities in this game. If they can play like they did against Oregon, this should be Washington State’s game.

    Line: Arizona -2.5

    Prediction: Arizona 38 – Washington State 36

    #20 USC Trojans 5-2, 4-1) at #19 Utah Utes (5-1, 2-1), 7 p.m.

I’m calling this the conference’s game of the week. This game has so many South Division implications and could essentially decide who goes to the Pac-12 Championship Game. The Utes are finally having the season that they wanted since joining the conference but USC is looking to make some noise post-sanctions. Both teams have had good offenses this year, but it’s going to be both of their defenses that will make the difference in this game. A big factor in this game is that it takes place at 7 PM where it is expected to be in the mid-50s. Can USC work in those conditions?

    Line: USC -1.0

    Prediction: USC 17 – Utah 28

    #14 Arizona State Sun Devils 5-1, 3-1) at Washington Huskies (5-2, 1-2), 7:45 p.m.

The Sun Devils can further their South Division hopes with a win over Washington. The Huskies have looked pretty decent and head coach Chris Peterson‘s first season but they were smacked upside the head with some reality in a big loss to Oregon last week. Washington has the ability to bounce back but Oregon State has had some decent runs since they were blown out by UCLA. Although those games have been led by QB Mike Bercovici and it is expected that Taylor Kelly will return from injury to start in this game. Can Kelly continue the winning or will Arizona State’s chi be thrown off with the change?

    Line: ASU -3.0

    Prediction: Arizona State 24 – Washington 26
