UCLA’s resurgent football program has continued to earn the admiration of the most prominent analyst in the college football world. ESPN Gameday panelist and national color commentator Kirk Herbstreit already proclaimed recently that he has Bruins QB Brett Hundley as his pre-season pick to win the Heisman Trophy.

It logically follows, now, that Herbstreit has projected his faith in Hundley’s 2014 performance onto the UCLA team itself. Yesterday, Herbstreit declared on his Twitter account that he believes UCLA will be chosen as one of the four teams to participate in the playoff that will determine college football’s champion at the end of the season.
Herbstreit is simply the most prominent of the many national media members hopping on the UCLA bandwagon before the 2014 season gets rolling. Safe to say that it’s not just Bruins fans who see the remarkable potential for a big season for the true blue and gold in the Fall!
