UCLA heads into Sunday’s matchup with Ohio State looking to move to 12-1 on the season. In a matchup between No. 4 and No. 19 and both teams 11-1. This is big in terms of Big Ten conference record. Both teams would benefit greatly from a win. UCLA is the better team, but Ohio State can flat out play and score the basketball. They would be unstoppable if they could make their 3-point shots. Jaloni Cambridge can also score in bunches and is tough to stop.

UCLA will need to continue to play great team defense. With a focus on keeping Ohio State out of the paint. Teams that can make them shoot jumpers will win. That is their weakness and has been all season. They only shoot 28.2% from 3-point range. The Bruins have great defenders that can play well on the wing. Pushing the ball away from the paint will ultimately help them in this game. The team is playing at an elite level defensively and the communication is there.
The offense which welcomed the return of Sienna Betts. Continues to get even better with all the talent that they have. Gianna Kneepkens and Gabriela Jaquez are spreading the floor well. While Kiki Rice and Charlisse Leger-Walker are operating the offense well. Lauren Betts has been returning to her dominant self in the paint as well. This Bruins team has never been in a better spot to make a championship run.

We expect the Bruins to get a big win on Sunday afternoon. Moving them to 12-1 on the season. While staying undefeated in Big Ten play. This will be one of eight Big Ten ranked matchups on the schedule for them. When he would kickstart them into the final 16 games of this season. As they push towards getting a high seed in the Big Ten tournament. Then hopefully a No. 1 seed in the March Madness brackets.
