The non-conference schedule is officially done for the regular season. UCLA will now finish the season with 17 Big Ten games. Room for error will become smaller with each matchup as the Bruins try and win the Big Ten and storm into March. It will not be an easy schedule, as eight of those 17 games their opponents are ranked. But they have had one of the hardest strengths of schedule in the nation. With their only blemish coming against Texas who has been dominate this year. So, they are ready to attack this stretch.

The Bruins are back at full health with the return of Sienna Betts, and she is looking as good as advertised. She was the second ranked recruit in the country. Choosing UCLA and pairing up with her sister Lauren for a chance at making UCLA history. After being slowly worked into the Cal Poly game, Sienna played 15 minutes versus Long Beach State and had 14 points and 5 rebounds. She is similar to her sister in that she can change a game on both ends of the floor and will be a key building block after this season.

UCLA is flushed with talent; they can go eight rotation deep with players that can each score 20+ points. They have the potential to have four players in the top 10 of the draft. As Gabriela Jaquez has skyrocketed up draft boards amidst her great shooting season and improved play offensively and defensively. Then Gianna Kneepkens as each game goes by just goes to show she was possibly the best transfer of the offseason for any team in the country.

17 Big Ten games and then it is off to the Big Ten tournament for the Bruins. It will be important to win as many as possible to continue showing their dominance. But also leading to a higher seed when the tournament comes around. Anything short of a championship is not a success for the women. They will have to get through this stretch and then a mix of UCONN, Texas and South Carolina to achieve that goal.
