Here are four predictions from four writers who have been covering UCLA this NCAA Tournament.
Game prediction from Levi Dombro.
UCLA is 5-3 against nationally ranked opponents and has impressive wins against Michigan State, Oregon, and Gonzaga on its resume. However, Tennessee presents a distinct challenge. I could see this game being close, but the Volunteers will separate themselves from the Bruins as the game goes on, ending an incredible bounce-back season by Cronin and the Bruins.

Game prediction from Gabriel S. Esparza.
Overall, there isn't enough evidence to suggest that UCLA can maintain pace or contain Tennessee, particularly Lanier, at this point. Their winning would be something of an upset and would assuredly cement coach Cronin in the eyes of the Bruin faithful, but that's not likely for today.

Game prediction from Josh Cornelissen.
Tennessee controls the game's pace, so it's a relatively low-scoring game. Tennessee 72, UCLA 64

Game prediction from Ryan Kay
Many are predicting UCLA, as a No. 7 seed, will lose to the No. 2 seed Tennessee. However, once he wins his first NCAA Tournament game, Bruins head coach Mick Cronin has a proven track record of making it to the Sweet Sixteen, as he has done three straight times from 2021 to 2023 as UCLA's head coach. This Bruin team is different from last season's as they have had a successful season with wins over tournament teams. Tennessee is a solid team from the SEC that has had even more marquee wins than UCLA. But the Bruins look like a team destined to pull off the upset and defeat the Vols to make it to the Sweet Sixteen.
