UCLA is set to close out the season at the Los Angeles Coliseum today. As the Bruins look to finish the season 4-8 with a win over their crosstown rivals in USC. They will need to do so is 21.5-point underdogs. Which will be no easy feat. The Bruins are not playing really good football and are limping into the end of the season which is set to conclude around 7:30 PM pacific standard time. Once the clock hits 0:00, there will be lots of talk on where UCLA is heading next. New coach that is going to bring in his own staff and change the dynamic.

There has been lots of chatter. But nothing for certain or any lead front runners as of now. That will most likely change within the coming days. As UCLA has no more football games to look forward to. They can put all their effort into finding a new head coach. This is a unique opportunity for the program to find a coach that can jump into the recruiting cycle and transfer portal. When Chip Kelly left in 2023, he left so far into recruiting that it set the team back. It will be talked about for a while when reports came out that he should’ve been let go before the USC game that year.
UCLA will face a USC team that had playoff hopes when the season begin. But with three losses, they will not be getting in. USC has an elite offense that is going to drive the ball pretty easily on the field. UCLA defense will have trouble at times with the sheer talent that USC has. They will score the ball today and rack up yards. UCLA will have the opportunity to drive the ball as well, as the USC defense is susceptible to the big play. With Nico Iamaleava set to play he should get a good chance to finish strong.

Can confirm @latbbolch’s report that UCLA QB Nico Iamaleava is expected to play against USC on Saturday, a source told @ocregister.
Iamaleava departed last week’s game with neck spasms, but is trending upwards ahead of the Battle of L.A.
21.5 points seems like a huge line. Considering both defenses give up points and yards. The USC offense is just too good to handle. They will win this game, but it will not be enough to cover the spread. UCLA will do enough to cover in their last game of the season. As they will find scoring the football a little easier than it was the last four weeks.
