With Washington officially dropping out of the top 25 in the latest rankings. The Bruins most likely have finished their regular season with ranked opponents on their schedule. If that is ultimately the case, they will finish 10-1 against ranked teams with their lone loss coming against Texas earlier in the season in a tournament. Which is phenomenal and has led to the Bruins being ranked No. 2 in the nation. They most likely will have a few ranked opponents in the Big Ten tournament as well.

So far, this has been the best Bruins season of all time for the women. At 25-1, they have dominated the majority of their opponents this season. With quite a few of their winds coming by 30 and 40 points. They have also been able to beat the ranked teams by quite a bit as well. With the closest one coming against Michigan in a 69-66 thriller. Which would’ve been more if UCLA didn’t turn the ball over twice down the stretch and miss free throws. But it was a good calling card for them to play in close games.

Once this team gets to the Sweet 16, games will start to get closer and closer. So, it is very imperative that they learn to win games in crunch time. It is still to be seen how the regions will work. But if all goes according to planned and UCLA continues to play the way they are. It seems to be a reality that they will match up with UCONN at some point. Leading many to believe this is the year, if they are not able to do it, then they will never do it. The Bruins have so much talent and so much experience to make it happen.

UCLA will graduate their top six players this year once the season concludes. Sienna Betts and Lena Bilić seem to be the top two that they will build around following this season. Considering they will be able to keep Betts in UCLA blue with her sister Lauren graduating. Then being able to get out in the transfer portal and see what Cori Close can bring in. But regardless of what they’re able to do. This is the season to make it happen and an opportunity like this is very hard to come by.
