The UCLA men's basketball roster for the 2025–2026 season is all but set. The transfer portal has allowed the Bruins to add new talent, and Mick Cronin and his coaching staff are expected to have some essential veterans returning to the team for the upcoming season. Cronin is assembling a robust roster as his team gears up for its second season in the Big Ten.

Let's take a look at the current roster for the 2025-26 season.

UCLA made significant moves in the transfer portal this offseason to enhance their roster with top talent to compete for a Big Ten championship and more. Looking ahead to the 2025–2026 season, the roster for the UCLA Bruins will feature these players:

Donovan Dent, standing tall at 6-foot-2 and hailing from New Mexico, is set to make his mark as he joins the team for his final season. He is the highest-rated transfer for UCLA this offseason. He is a projected starter and has the potential to be the leading scorer for the Bruins this upcoming season.

At around 240 pounds, Xavier Booker is a formidable presence on the court, towering at an impressive 6 feet 11 inches as a forward/center. He played at Michigan State these past two seasons and was rated as high as a five-star by specific publications coming out of high school. As a junior for the next two seasons, he has ample opportunity to showcase his skills on the field.

Guard/forward Jamar Brown attended the University of Missouri–Kansas City, where he began his collegiate career. His shooting prowess and versatility on the court have earned him significant acclaim. He is not projected to be a starter but is expected to earn significant playing time this season.

Steven Jamerson II, standing tall at 6 feet 10 inches, is a center/forward from the University of San Diego. Cronin and the coaching staff will welcome his rebounding ability and motivation to contribute for UCLA in Big Ten play.

With only a year left for Anthony Peoples Jr. to be eligible, having played previously at North Carolina Central University, he's deciding to move on to play at UCLA.

Markell Alston, a 6-foot-1 guard from Christ the King High School in New York, is an incoming freshman who is a three-star according to Rivals.

Eric Freeny, a four-star 2024 recruit, redshirted last season and looks to have a role this upcoming season for UCLA.

These players are set to return for the 2025–2026 season.

As he enters his senior year, Tyler Bilodeau is setting the pace for the team as he was UCLA's leading scorer last season.

Skyy Clark is back for his second season with UCLA and looks to once again be among the Bruins' main contributors this upcoming season.

In his junior year, forward/defense player Eric Dailey Jr. showcased his skills on the court as UCLA's second-leading scorer last season. He looks to be a starter once again and one of the top scorers for the Bruins again this upcoming season.

Sophomore guard Trent Perry, who contributed last season as a true freshman, looks to increase his minutes, contribute even more, and build on the momentum from last season.

Mick Cronin has revamped the roster, focusing on bringing in experienced college players who can hit the ground running in the competitive Big Ten landscape. Still, he was also able to keep valuable key players from transferring. To achieve a successful Big Ten season, the team will focus on maximizing the potential of its incoming talented players alongside the seasoned experience already within the roster. As the 2025–26 season approaches this fall, UCLA looks to be a contender and make some noise for all to hear among the college basketball community.
