Skyy Clark has been the second-best player on the UCLA roster this season. He is one of the best shooters in the nation and is playing at a very high level. The consistency has been the best part. You would think shooting 50% from 3-point range would slow down. But we are now 13 games into the season, and he continues to shoot at a high clip. Impressing many people including our own site here, highlighting that he is one of the best in the country. Proving to be a very important part of Mick Cronin’s team.

Clark was one of three returning players for the Bruins this season. Along with other starters in Tyler Bilodeau and Eric Dailey Jr., they were expected to play a big role. Including two transfer starters in Donovan Dent and Xavier Booker. This team is equipped with spacing and athleticism to be a great team. So far this season there has been mixed results. We have seen UCLA be a very good team, and we have seen them play down to opponents' levels. Consistency is something we still need to see.

There have been no issues with Clark, though. He is averaging 14.2 points per game, which is a career high. Doing so shooting 48.1% from the field and the blistering 49.3% from 3-point range. Providing UCLA with tremendous space, something they really struggled with in the 2024 season. The lanes and mid-range were often congested leading to stagnant times on offense. Clark is a talented guard that can create his own shot.

Clark has also played at Illinois and Louisville in his college career. UCLA is his third stop as a college. The one thing that he has struggled with is he will go cold at times. Last year there were games he had double digit points and then struggle from the field the next game and have three or four points. This year he has been much more consistent and continues to grow his game. His elite shooting is something that can put him onto NBA Draft radars.
