The Buffalo Bills were unbelievably thin at linebacker by the time the playoff rolled around. Tyrel Dodson led the team in tackles against the Chiefs and AJ Klein made five tackles in that game after joining the team for the stretch run off his couch.

Even beyond injuries, Buffalo is aging on the defense, especially at linebacker and safety. Matt Milano will be 30 coming off his injury next season, so a low-risk linebacker like Muasau would be a perfect fit.

Muasau only measured 5-foot-11 at the East-West Shrine Bowl, but he was also the most impressive linebacker at the event and is coming off a season with 38 run stops for UCLA per PFF.

His lack of size will drop him to Day 3, but he won’t have to wait around too long to hear his name called because of his athleticism. If he tests well in the 40-yard dash and 3-cone drill then his stock could rise because he’ll need speed to survive as an undersized linebacker in the NFL.
