No. 2 UCLA will face off against Washington on Thursday night. The Bruins who are 25-1 on the season look to move to 26-1 as we crawl closer to the Big Ten tournament and then March Madness. Washington, who has struggled recently and dropped out of the top 25 rankings. Sits at 19-7 on the season as they look to win their 20th game and pull off a big upset. UCLA is playing excellent basketball and will need everything they have to try and make a run towards an NCAA title.

Washington has a very good player in Sayvia Sellers who can score the basketball very well. She averages 19.3 points per game and can score at all levels as well as space the floor. UCLA has been tremendous at shutting down team's best players this season. Forcing others around them to try and beat them. It has worked all season as shown by their record. They will look to do the same to Sellers. Who outside of her don’t have much scoring. With only two other players, averaging in double digits.

Avery Howell has also been good in the front court for the Huskies. Averaging 13.5 points and 8.4 rebounds per game this season. UCLA is more than equipped with Lauren Betts to be able to take care of the post and paint though. With Kiki Rice and Gabriela Jaquez being able to suffocate opponents on the perimeter. They’re two of the best defenders at the guard position in the nation.

The Bruins offense has seven players who average at least 7.5 points per game. They played very good offense, as well as one of the best defenses in the nation. They will be too much for Washington to handle. As they will send the Huskies to a 2-4 record to open the month of February. Continuing their slide against ranked opponents. The Bruins are just too good of a team, and they are fully expected to finish this season at 28-1 and win the Big Ten.
