Money Williams is a new transfer portal addition from Montana that provides a ton of upside for one season of eligibility. Williams set numerous records this past season for Montana where he averaged 20.6 points per game. Now he will look to take his talents to a bigger school with more eyes on him. With that type of scoring talent, you’d expect many teams to be after him.

The 6-foot-4 guard was named First Team All-Big Sky this season after playing the last three seasons at Montana.

Williams is a 6’4 guard that led the Big Sky in scoring this past season and had a total of 699 points on the season. That included three conference tournament games where he scored a total of 91 points. He also had a 40-point outburst against Northern Colorado in a 95-89 win. The kid can flat out score the basketball from anywhere on the floor. He is also very good at getting to the free-throw line where he converted at 85.5% last year.
Williams shot 49.3% from the field last season and 34% from 3-point range. If he can get his long range shooting to be a little more consistent, his scoring numbers will jump even more. UCLA is in need of a guard that can score the basketball from all levels of the floor. They currently have shrimp Perry, who we await on a decision from returning. But outside of that, Clark is more of a 3-point guy and then there is a lot of inexperience on the team.
Montana PG Money Williams will enter the transfer portal.

Has been my PG1 of mid majors all season, will 100% be on a high major team next season.
I genuinely hope Kentucky reaches out and makes some contact here. This is a PRO.

The portal currently has a ton of talent that is filling up. There will be plenty of opportunities for UCLA to go out and get some players to fill their roster. They can go to the offensive route and the defensive route. The NIL plays a big factor in things, and it will be interesting to see how much UCLA opens up the books. Because if they can bring in the talent and have these returning players, the round of 32 will be a thing of the past again.
