Game 26 will feature UCLA’s second straight top 10 matchup. As they stay in the state of Michigan and now face off against Michigan State. Game 25 will feature their matchup against No. 3 Michigan. Giving UCLA a good barometer to see where their team is at. The hope is that they will be 17-7 after wins against Rutgers and Washington before facing Michigan. UCLA plays their best basketball against ranked teams, so they will need everything they have for this stretch.
UCLA has upset No. 4 Purdue this season and taken No. 1 Arizona down to the wire. So, it is not crazy to say that they will handle this stretch well. A stretch that they will need a win or two to ensure they make the March Madness tournament. UCLA at the moment will be in the tournament but it could get interesting if they have an 0-3 stretch here. Considering they also have No. 5 Nebraska still on their schedule as well.

The Bruins cannot afford to go 0-4 against those four top 10 teams. That would put them with at least 11 losses and that is not including any other slip ups they may have. Which would put them at a lower seed in the Big Ten tournament. An early exit could lead to them missing March Madness in all. An NIT berth would be a huge disappointment considering how talented this team is when they are all playing together. Things need to be fixed fast and unfortunately; we have been saying the same thing over the last 10 games.
Michigan State is currently 19-3 on the season. All three losses have been against top 12 teams. They are a very good team and championship contenders. Jeremy Fears Jr. and Jaxon Kohler are a great duo and NBA talent. They also possess Coen Carr and Carson Cooper. Providing a balanced roster and one that has the talent and experience for a deep run. They will test UCLA from the jump. The Bruins will need Skyy Clark back and production from their bench to hang around in this one.
