Skyy Clark is one of UCLA’s best players. He has been out for seven games due to a hamstring injury. Which UCLA is taking it slow on. As they know hamstring injuries can easily be re-injured. So, they want to proceed with the utmost caution to make sure he is ready to go by the Big Ten tournament. Then if UCLA is able to advance to March Madness. They will need Clark at full strength to stretch the defense with his scoring and then lock up on the defensive end. He has played good basketball on both ends this season.

Clark could possibly petition for another college season after this year. After his freshman season only saw him play 13 games. He is an intriguing NBA Draft prospect as he is elite at shooting the 3-point ball. Something that has become a phenomenon in the NBA. As these teams sometimes shoot up to 60 3-pointers in a game. Completely changing the landscape of the game and coveting players that can shoot the ball. Moving away from traditional big men having as much of an impact.

Clark on the 2025 season has been averaging 13.5 points per game and doing so on 48.6% from 3-point range. Proving to be one of the best shooters in the country before his injury. Trent Perry has filled in very well in his absence. But as the season starts to hit the last stretch, you want all of your best players in the lineup. Clark will give this Bruins team a boost upon that return when he is ready to do so. Also creating a decision on who starts and who comes off of the bench for Mick Cronin.

UCLA was not as effective last year with their three-guard sets. So, it makes you weary if they go back to that. But the difference is Clark and Perry can space the floor much more than Dylan Andrews and Sebastian Mack. You can also keep Tyler Bilodeau at power forward if you want to slide Eric Dailey Jr. to the sixth man role. But regardless of what decision is made, the Bruins will be very happy to welcome Clark back to the lineup.
