UCLA hosts in-state rival Cal for their last regular season game but there are plenty of great match-ups for rivalry week to end the last full week of the regular season for college football.

Another little-known college football rivalry between the California Golden Bears and UCLA Bruins is the California–UCLA football rivalry. The two schools are situated in the Greater Los Angeles Area and the San Francisco Bay Area, respectively, roughly 350 miles apart.

The two universities have played 93 times, with UCLA winning the all-time series 55-34-1. The rivalry started in 1933 with a 0-0 draw in the first meeting between the two teams. Seven of the previous nine meetings have been won by the Bruins, including the season-ending 35-28 triumph in 2022.

One of the biggest and most passionate rivalries in college football is the football rivalry between California and UCLA, for those who are unaware of it or don’t know much about it.
