The Tigers have a tough schedule ahead of them, but they are well-positioned to make a run at the Ivy League championship. The Tigers are currently undefeated in non-conference, and they are one of the favorites to win the league.
Here are some of the key reasons for the Tigers’ success this season:
Balanced scoring attack: The Tigers have four players averaging in double figures, and they have five players averaging at least 7.8 points per game. This balanced scoring attack has made it difficult for opposing teams to defend the Tigers.
Strong rebounding: The Tigers are averaging 33.0 rebounds per game, which is tied 340th in the country as of 11/17. This strong rebounding has given the Tigers second-chance opportunities and has helped them to control the tempo of the game.
Efficient shooting: The Tigers are shooting 42.8% from the field, which is tied-270th in the country as of 11/17. This efficient shooting has helped the Tigers to score at a high rate.
