Let’s examine a few of the teams and the methodologies employed to create these mid-major rankings.

Which three rankings are included in these power rankings for mid-majors?

The rankings that are utilized to determine these mid-major power rankings are listed below. The order of the teams in these mid-major power rankings will be influenced by the application of each of these three ranking systems. The order of teams in these rankings is subject to change as the season goes on because of the small sample size at this time.

Except for these power rankings, which have a smaller sample size of games, the teams with the lowest overall point totals out of the majority of these weekly rankings will be listed highest in these rankings. As more and more mid-major teams secure impressive victories over Power Five conference teams and other quality road wins, the number of ranked teams will eventually rise to twenty and then thirty.

All games played up to November 19, 2023, are included in the rankings.
