UCLA Basketball: Non-Conference Game by Game Previews and Predictions
By Ryan Kay
UCLA ends its non-conference schedule with a home contest against the Maryland Terrapins.
Game 11
UCLA and Maryland years ago agreed to play a home and away series between them and the Terrapins. Last season, the Bruins traveled to play Maryland in a non-conference matchup. This year, Maryland will travel to play UCLA in Los Angeles.
UCLA played well on the road last year when they traveled to the East Coast to Maryland and defeated the Terrapins by a final score of 87-60. The Bruins played well from the start and they ended the first half holding Maryland to only 20 first-half points. Both teams lost some quality players from their last season’s teams but this should be a great game at the Pauley Pavilion.
